My Thoughts: This was not what I expected it to be when I read the title and that's on me because I should have read the description more. It's about the power of using the word "no" against unwanted touch from other children or from adults. It briefly touches on telling a trusted adult if something happens in the story but the rest is all about saying "no".
The story itself does not go into much detail. It's more about what the illustrations say, which say more about the situation in which you should say no. I think the illustrations need more description on what is considered an unwanted touch as it's good for a child to know specifically so they can describe what happened if something does.
I thought the illustrations of the people were a little off.
There are resources at the end for parents, educators, and caregivers.
Rating: 3 out of 5. This is a good start about unwanted touching and as I said earlier I think that more detail needs to go into these scenarios.
Many thanks to BooksGoSocial and Netgalley for this review copy. This is my honest opinion.
