My Thoughts:  I am an avid reader of Laura Griffin and a lover of thriller books. Deep Tide is labeled as a romantic thriller, however, I would consider it more of a romance than a thriller. Don't get me wrong, there is definitely some police procedure in the book when it comes to the crime scenes and the kidnapping. But if you are a lover of thriller books, like me, then this is most likely not going to be the book for you. For me the book was a slow burn.
